Takani Yoshiyuki's "The World of Plastic Model Package Art"

Takani-san is one of Japan's most prolific and talented package art wizards, having created hundreds of boxes during a career that started in 1963, and that continues today! Unlike some artists who focus on a specific genre, Takani's work has graced nearly every corner of the modeling world including Tamiya tanks and aircraft, Pit-Road ships and Five Star Stories robots from Wave. This hard-cover book provides 140 pages of nearly 400 full-color reproductions of boxes, plus another 30 pages of commentary on his life and a list of his works (all in Japanese). Highly recommended!
