This is a great book on IJN Pilot uniforms and aviation equipment. Everything you would want to find on IJN aircraft, from the pilot's sword to onboard radio equipment, is in this book. Author Shigeo Satoh is a former IJN fighter pilot, and most of photographs in this book are from his and his colleagues' private albums. Co-Author Kunihiko Satoh is Shigeo's son and a famous modeler. Many photos in this book have never been published before. Photos date from the very early period of the IJNAF to the end of WWII. What makes this book so special is the drawings of aviation equipment; all the equipment you can imagine such as gun sights, radios, gauges, uniforms and even lunch boxes are found in this book, and the drawings are all beautiful and precise. One can surely find all the details you have been dying to see for years! Definitely a must-have book for J-aircraft modelers, or for anyone interested in the IJNAF. Highly recommended.
