A very nice limited-run kit of the Pfalz D III. The plastic parts are crisply molded, with a well-done engine assembly and decently outfitted cockpit. Photo-etched parts are included as well, although the instructions for their use are a bit weak. Still, the parts are labeled as to what they are, so with a little research on your own, things should be easy enough to sort out. Markings are given for three colorful aircraft; again the instructions are a little weak here and color callouts are not entirely clear, so keep the boxtop as color profiles are shown on the sides of the box. All in all, this seems to be a very nice kit, somewhat let down by the instructions, but that shouldn't stop World War I fans from adding this kit to their collections!
