The Semiorka R7 ICBM was the world's first intercontinental ballistic missile, but found its true calling as a family of launch vehicles for the Soviet and later Russian space programs, from the Sputnik and Luna programs on to Vostok, Voshkod, and Soyuz.
Mach 2's kit of the Semiorka R7 ICBM is molded in white styrene, and in 1/72 scale builds into a very impressive model. This is a limited run injection kit, so be prepared to do a bit of parts cleanup before assembly. Kit includes the beefy Semiorka R7 launch vehicle with typical payload section on top (nuclear, by the looks of the box art!)...however, it does NOT include a figure of pivotal Soviet rocket scientist Sergey Korolyov, as also pictured on the box top!
