This is a Japanese-language book or magazine about ships and/or ship modeling.
This is a great study of Japan's famous BB Yamato, by Polish historian Janusz Skulski. With about 600 line drawings, he analyses this gigantic building of steel. Starting with the general layout of the vessel, he checks through the each part of the superstructure, components of the many ship devices, details of the armament and its fire control devices. Also included are the microscopic details of hatches, reels, ladders, etc. Some precious wartime photos from private collections are also printed here. At the end of the book, an illustration and a map depicts the last laying place of the Yamato. Unfortunately there are no English captions. This volume is the one you must have if you want to know about the ship building technology of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
