All about the characters from "Nodame Cantabile", by Ninomiya Tomoko. The manga is about Chiaki Shinichi, a boy who dreams of becoming a great conductor, but whose fear of flying keeps him from leaving Japan, where his musical talent is stifled. He meets Noda Megumi "Nodame", an undisciplined but wildly talented musician, and he makes it his goal to turn her into a disciplined musician. Partly comedy, partly romance, it's got none of the big gooey eyes and hearts and sparkles that one would expect from a shoujo (girls') manga -- what it does have is characters that resonate with one another and with the reader.
