Kotobukiya releases a whole new type of figure with their series of "Active Styling" items. These fully-completed (painted and assembled) 1/8 figures have extremely well-painted heads on bodies with joints designed so that they can duplicate virtually any pose an actual person can make. The downside of this is that the double-jointed elbows and knees are rather prominent and give them a somewhat "Pinocchio"-ish appearance, though their proportions are excellent. Clothes are removable.

This is Asuka depicted in her yellow one-piece outfit.
