1/35 DUKW Amphibious Truck

The DUKW is an amphibious version of the famous 2 1/2-ton truck (6x6) of the U.S. Army. It was highly useful as a transport vehicle at beachheads, especially Normandy, and some of them are still working as sightseeing vehicles around the world. Italeri's kit is a new tooling, with a large four-piece body and many detail parts. The mold is every bit as good as their recent LVT-4 Water Buffalo (ITA379)! Transparent parts for windshields are included, too. The only drawback is that the cargo load and figure are not included--but that's a minor problem easily solved with your spare parts box!
