Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Hasegawa's 1/72 Whale is now available in the tanker variant. Comes with the belly fairings, vents, and other details that distinguish the KA-3B type from the standard Skywarrior.
Excellent, crisp, engraved detail throughout the kit, esp. in the gear bays and other recessed areas. Cockpit is passable, but could use more detail (isn't that always the case?). Completed kit is quite large (30cm long) even in this scale. Bomber version also available. Includes markings for two aircraft, VAH-4 on Kitty Hawk (see box art) and VAH-8 on Constellation.
