Hasegawa's classic Ki-43 with markings and modifications for the final late-war version. Markings for two aircraft - the first (see box art) was flown by Captain Yukichi Kitakoga from the 54th Flight Regiment, 2nd Squadron at Kashiwabara Air Base Horomushiro Island in June 1944. The second was flown by Captain Hisashi Koshiishi Captain Yukichi Kitakoga from the 54th Flight Regiment, 3rd Air Squadron at Kashiwabara Air Base Horomushiro Island in June 1944 for aircraft from the 64th Flight Regiment 1st Squadron.
