This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 174 parts. 25.4cm long when completed.
Boy, do we 1/72 modelers have it good this year! First an outstanding Ju88, and now this B-26. It seems hard to believe, but this kit looks even better than Hasegawa's highly acclaimed B-25. Hasegawa has provided full interior, bomb-bay, landing gear well and engine detail. Optional parts are provided for open and closed bomb-bay doors and deployed or stowed waist guns. In a very thoughtful touch, they have come up with an ingenious solution to the two small windows just below the rudder in the top of the tail gunner's compartment: the horizontal stabilizer is molded in clear plastic! All you need to do is mask off the windows and paint!
Markings are provided for three aircraft: the most famous B-26, "Flak Bait" of the 449th BS; "Miss Manchester" of the 441st BS in Italy; and the shark-mouthed natural-metal "Barracuda" of the 495th BS.
