An incredibly detailed model of Japan's Antarctic observation ship, the Soya.
This edition of Hasegawa's excellent Soya kit depicts the Observation 3rd Corps version of the ship, and includes 1/32-scale soft metal figures of an Antarctic expedition crew member and two dogs (Taro and Jiro, is that you?). Also includes a DH-2 Beaver aircraft and two Sikorsky S-58 helicopters. A great model of an interesting and unusual subject.
