Hasegawa's latest release in its Crusader series is the F-8J. Upgraded from the excellent F-8E Crusader, the J model featured changes designed to improve carrier take-off and landing performance, such as modifications to the forward wing edge and trailing edge flaps and ailerons and an increase in horizontal stabilizer size. The kit features fine engraved panel lines, positionable canopy, main wing, flaps, ailerons, and horizontal stabilizers, and a seated pilot figure. Eight Zuni rockets are included, as are rails for Sidewinder missiles, but the missiles themselves are not included. Markings are included for two VFP-63 "Eyes of the Fleet" aircraft.
