Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/48 scale A6M5 Zero Model 52 kit with decals to mark it as any one of four aircraft based on Saipan in June, 1944. While the unit is unknown, each plane is unique in having a distinct Chinese character painted on the rudder. While the meaning of this is unknown, perhaps it referred to the particular airplane's dispersal location or maintenance supervisor. See box photo or art for marking details.
