This is an excellent 1/1250-scale model of the lead ship of the Kidd class of destroyers. The Kidd-class destroyers were originally built for the Shah of Iran, combining the combat systems of the Virginia-class cruisers with the anti-submarine abilities of the Spruance-class destroyers.
This Hobby Boss kit of the Kidd can be built waterline or full-hull, and includes a nice black plastic stand with a printed inscription for the full-hull version. Decals are included. A small but nicely detailed kit!
