This is an excellent 1/1250-scale model of the lead ship of the Spruance class of destroyers. The DD-963 Spruance was commissioned in 1975 and decommissioned in 2005, a service life of 30 years.
This Hobby Boss kit of the Spruance can be built waterline or full-hull, and includes a nice black plastic stand with a printed inscription for the full-hull version. Decals are included. A small but nicely detailed kit!
