The M706 Armored Car, also known as the V-100 Commando or XM706E2, was used in Vietnam for reconnaissance, convoy escort, base perimeter defense, and other security duties. Armed with two machine guns in a small turret, the type was used by the US Army, US Air Force, ARVN, and Thai forces.
