Hobby Boss continues their "easy assembly" series with this Me163. Kits in this line are molded in the minimum number of parts needed to produce an acceptably accurate 1/72-scale model. The fuselage is molded as one piece, with the entire wing as a second piece, to which are added the landing gear and other small parts. The kits certainly look like the aircraft they are supposed to represent, and seem (in the box) to be pretty accurate in outline. In terms of overall detail level, we would put them somewhere above the older Hasegawa kits. This kit has 17 parts, with decals for a Komet of II/JG400 as well as a captured example tested by the British post-war.
