Product Description

This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Hobbyboss continues their line of Grumman Ironworks products with this very nice kit of the F6F-5 Hellcat. Features detailed cockpit, engine, engine accessory compartment and landing gear, wings that can be assembled folded or spread, separate flaps, centerline drop tank of the simplified late-war style, bombs and racks and HVAR rockets. Decals are for "19" of VF-9 off the Lexington during the Tokyo raids of February, 1945 as well as "Minsi III" of Commander David McCampbell off the USS Essex in late-1944. Instructions are of the exploded-view pictorial type, with notes in English and Chinese.
