Ground Power #165 February 2008

Primarily a pictorial publication, Ground Power magazine has very little in the way of anything that could be described as an article. Each issue generally focuses on two to four different themes and is 144 pages of primarily b&w photos, one or two to a page, with Japanese captions. These features can run for several issues, hence the "(2)" or other numbers following some story names. If you know what you are looking at, these are extremely valuable reference books. If you don't, the lack of English captions could make things a bit difficult. Issue #165 covers the Russian IS-2 Stalin heavy tank, the German Fiesler Fi 156 Storch observation aircraft, the German Sturer Emil 128mm self-propelled gun, and Operation Iraqi Freedom 2006 (September-December).
