This item is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.
A radical design that never lived up to its potential. Called the "Gutless" and a few other less favorable names by the pilots and crews assigned to them, this aircraft served only 3 years of active duty. Fujimi's kit features fine engraved detail and comes with four of the "first generation" Sparrow missiles that were fitted to the -3M variant. Markings for 2 different aircraft of VA-116 in gloss gull gray over white - Bureau Number 139917/NB203 aboard the USS Hancock in 1957(see box art) and Bureau Number 139890/W213 in 1956.
