Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
A nice, simple kit of one of the more important Soviet fighters of WW2. Since the real aircraft was quite simple, the kit could be said to be a good representation. However, this should not be taken to mean "lack of detail"! This kit has fine, recessed panel lines, a cockpit that is more than adequate for the scale, and detailed landing gear. About the only thing missing from the cockpit is seatbelts, but these can be easily fabricated from tape or paper. Two canopies are provided to enable you to build the sliding center section open or closed. Decals are for the aircraft shown in the box art, yellow 19 of GIAP, Poland in early 1945.
