Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.
 
Reissue of the Airfix Spitfire 22/24 kit, with a complete replacement Aires resin cockpit, a fret of Eduard photo-etch, and decals for four aircraft. Panel line templates are included in the photo-etch to help accurize the kit, and the Aires resin also includes exhaust stubs and new wheels for the Mk.22 options. Markings are given for Mk.22 PK559/RAN 4 of No 607 County of Durham Squadron, RauxAF at the Cooper Air Trophy Race in 1948; Mk.24 VN307/W2 of No 80 Squadron at Kai-Tak Air Base, Hong Kong in 1950-51; Mk.22 PK570/F of No 603 City of Edinburgh Squadron, 1950; and Mk.22 "514" of the Syrian Air Force in 1954.
