To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the plastic model business in Japan, Doyusha has re-released the 1960s Yamada Mokei "Bikkuri Bunkai Jidousha" (literally, "Surprise Disassembly Automobile") 1915 Ford kit, a very cool plastic model that goes to pieces when you run it into a wall or other hard object. Don't worry, though--the pieces all snap back together, ready for another crash! The kit is made directly from the original Yamada Mokei molds, and is even molded in the exact original color. And of course, it's packaged in exactly the same type of box, with the same unique box art! Crash-test-type vehicle as shown in the box art is not included, but you do get a hapless driver figure.
