1/72 T-34/85 Mod. 1944 Late Production

German Panzerfaust anti-tank rocket launchers were a lethal threat to Allied tank crews, especially in urban areas. The Russians countered by attaching bed springs to the turret and hull to detonate the warhead before it reached the armor plate, robbing the weapon of its penetrating power.

Dragon reproduced this unique T-34/85 with the addition of many photo-etched bed spring parts. The T34/85 itself has a new turret to represent a late production model. The belt-type tracks are made of flexible "Dragon Styrene" and is molded in fine detail. The engine grills are also nicely rendered in photo-etch. Decals by Cartograf.
