Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic ship model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 400 parts.

Commissioned in 1945, the Princeton was a WWII-era Essex-class carrier that was later converted for anti-submarine warfare duty in the 1950s, and then finally converted into a US Marines amphibious landing ship for duty in Vietnam. The Princeton was decommissioned in 1970.

Dragon's kit of the Princeton represents the ship in its anti-submarine configuration, featuring an air wing consisting of four S2F-1 Tracker sub hunters and eight HSS-1 anti-sub helicopters. The aircraft are molded in clear plastic, and feature folding wings on the Trackers and folding tails and rotors on the HSS-1s. The ship can be built as either a waterline or full-hull model, with a nice stand for the full-hull version. Includes newly tooled parts for the Princeton, photo-etched metal detail parts (including some crew figures), and decals by Cartograf (includes markings for the Princeton, Boxer, Tarawa, Leyte, Valley Forge, and Philippine Sea). Includes hangar deck with interior details. Hull side doors can be modeled in open, half-open, or closed positions.
