Dragon's CV-19 Hancock is a great kit of one of the last US carriers built in WWII. Initially named Ticonderoga, her name was changed to Hancock prior to launching, and she was commissioned on April 15, 1944. The Hancock saw plenty of action at Okinawa and Formosa, earning four battle stars for her service in WWII. She served decades more after the war, finally being decommissioned on January 30, 1976.
Finely molded in gray styrene, this kit can be built as either a full-hull or waterline model, and comes with a nice clear blue ocean base if you go waterline and a sharp drydock-type stand if you go full-hull. Hangar deck details included. Includes a full complement of F6Fs, SB2Cs, and TBFs, all molded in clear plastic for enhanced canopy realism. Includes a comprehensive fret of photo-etched parts and two tugboats. Markings included for the Hancock and all aircraft.
