This item is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 800 parts.
The German Heushrecke IVb Grasshopper only saw the light of day as two prototype vehicles, and was an attempt to mount the 10.5cm le.F.H. 18 Howitzer onto a Panzer IV chassis. An interesting thing about this vehicle was that the gun and turret could be dismounted in the field using on-vehicle equipment, to be deployed as a standard piece of field artillery.
Dragon has brought us this fine kit of an interesting and unusual vehicle by adding some completely new parts and tweaking some previous parts from their Panzer IV "Smart Kit" release. The extended lower hull, superstructure, and turret, as well as the gun and gantry equipment for handling the turret, are all-new parts. The turret can be displayed mounted on the hull, being dismounted, or on the ground as a field gun (includes wheels for the ground version). The interior is also well represented, with ammo racks and gunpowder storage unique to this vehicle. Markings are included for one vehicle.
