Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
As WWII started, the never-ending race for improved firepower and armor protection also began. The German Panzer IV started life as a fire support vehicle for the Panzer III gun tank, but the demands of the battlefield forced it to adopt the role of a gun tank, and to alter the design of the tank itself with a longer-barreled gun. Pz. IV Ausf. G is a good example of the results of this transition. The G has thicker armor than previous models and was fitted with the powerful 75mm Kw.K40 L/43 gun.
Here's another great Panzer IV kit from Dragon/Cyber-Hobby. The easy-to-assemble individual-link Magic Tracks represent the 40cm type, and are already cleaned up and ready to be assembled, and also feature the elusive guide horn detail (that is, they're open!) missing on most incarnations of this track. Includes optional parts for many, many features. The turret and other parts are newly tooled specifically for the Ausf. D version. Markings are included for one vehicle. A figure is not included.
