This first volume of the Sengoku Basara Style series covers Masamune Date from the popular "Sengoku Basara" PS2 game, with background info on Date in the first few pages of the book, plus several pages of "Sengoku Basara" manga featuring him near the end of the book. Contents in between include background information on other historical figures who appear as characters in the game, including Nobunaga Oda and Motochika Chosogabe; interviews with producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and Masamune Date voice actor Kazuya Nakai; and sections covering fan art and fans cosplaying as their favorite "Sengoku Basara" characters.
