1/72 Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Type 52

A reissue of an older LS kit by Arii. This kit features recessed panel lines, fairly well-done landing gear, movable flaps, ailerons and rudder as well as a sliding canopy and spinning propeller. If you do not glue the landing gear in place (the instructions tell you to just stick the legs in the sockets in the upper wing halves), you can remove the legs and replace them in the retracted position! While not state-of-the-art, this kit quite adequately captures the shape of the Zero, and is eminently affordable.
