1/72 Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Type 21

A reissue of an older LS kit by Arii. This kit features recessed panel lines, fairly well-done landing gear, movable flaps, ailerons and rudder, sliding canopy, spinning propeller and folding wing tips. If you do not glue the landing gear in place (the instructions tell you to just stick the legs in the sockets in the upper wing halves), you can remove the legs and replace them in the retracted position! While not state-of-the-art, this kit quite adequately captures the shape of the Zero, and is eminently affordable.
