"The Bismarck was the most powerful battleship afloat in 1941 when she sailed to raid Allied shipping in the North Atlantic.  She was eventually sunk by torpedoes from Royal Naval ships with the loss of almost 1,900 crew."

Airfix's kit of the Bismarck will measure 41.5cm long when completed.
