This is the well known "Multi Pose" figure set from Airfix released late 1970's. At that date, this is the most thoroughly molded figure set ever. Especially the head parts are reproduced with variety of expressions. Also the figure sculpter realized the frame and movement of the human body precisely. In this term, this series still be evaluated as one of the best soldier figures. As titled, it can take other pose by exchanging parts among figures. Each set depicted an infantry half-squad consisting of one leader, one LMG gunner and four soldiers equiped with rifles and SMG in combat. One decal set for rank insignia is included, too. The japanese letters on the national flag shows that the pray for the luck in the battle field for the leader, Mr. Shiroyama from Asakusa, Tokyo.
