Waterline kit of the Imperial Japanese Navy Heavy Cruiser "Chokai" as it appeared at the Battle of the Solomon Sea. The "Chokai" was the fourth ship of the "Takao" class and was the only one of the class to remain essentially unchanged from her original construction. The only major difference being in the height of her main mast.
