Infamous for sinking the Allied steamship SS Khedive Ismail and subsequently being destroyed itself by British destroyers near the Maldives in 1944, the Japanese submarine I-27 is now coming to naval modelers as a fantastic 1/350-scale kit! Also famous for launching one of the midget subs that attacked Sydney Harbor in 1942, the I-27 can be modeled full-hull or waterline, and includes a very detailed Sydney attacker midget sub.
