Thanks to its sharp turning radius and a maximum payload capacity of 1.5 metric tons, the Asaka Turret Truck is widely used at various wholesale markets in Japan, as well as station yards, warehouses, and factories. With the proper registration, it can even be operated on public roads, although only at speeds of 15 kilometers per hour (about 9mph).
