This is a model of the "Super Z" modified Nissan Fairlady 280Z used in the '70s-'80s television police drama "Seibu Keisatsu." The Super Z featured gull wing doors, hood mounted machine guns (!), and other modifications to make it a superb crime-fighting vehicle.
Aoshima's kit is sharply molded in gold, black, and clear plastic, with matte chrome rims, black rubber tires, and markings to finish the car as it appeared in the show. Gull wing doors can be opened and closed after assembly. A "curbside" model, with no engine detail.
