Aoshima's first "Battle Rotor" series kit is this UH-60. This is actually a pretty nice little kit, with fine recessed panel lines, a reasonably complete cockpit (no collective sticks, but a lot of larger-scale kits are missing them as well), nicely done main rotor and stub wings with drop tanks and Hellfire missiles. The canopy is also nice and clear, and the starboard-side main door can be posed open. However, aside from a floor and rear bulkhead, there isn't any detail inside the troop/cargo area. The only area where this kit is let down in my opinion is the decals. Aoshima included a generic sheet of US stars-and-bars, printed in silver for some reason. However, it should be possible to find some appropriately-sized US insignia in your "decal dungeon", and with some lettering to spell out "U.S. ARMY" you should be well on your way to a fairly accurate scheme. Despite the decal issue, this kit is definitely worth the 800 yen!
