A highly detailed model kit of the WWII German U-Boat Type VII B. Can be built as a full-hull or waterline model, and includes a display stand for the full-hull version. Includes a simple inner pressure hull, which you'll never see again after assembly, unfortunately! Unless, of course, you attempt to drill out the numerous and miniscule limber holes in the outer hull...but hey, at least you'll know it's in there! The kit also includes two types of conning towers, four torpedoes, intricate external propulsion system and diving plane details, plus your choice of plastic or photo-etched metal hand rails. Markings are provided for U-Boats U-47, U-48, and U-99. A nice little kit of one of the most feared weapons of WWII!
