A highly detailed model kit of the 1943 version of the US Navy's Gato class submarine. Can be built as a full-hull or waterline model, and includes a display stand for the full-hull version. Includes a simple inner pressure hull, which you'll never see again after assembly, unfortunately! Unless, of course, you attempt to drill out the numerous and miniscule limber holes in the outer hull...but hey, at least you'll know it's in there! The kit also includes seven torpedoes, and photo-etched metal detail parts. Markings are provided for just about any boat you want to build.
