This version of the venerable 251-series half track, the workhorse of the Wehrmacht, was a radio command version, used mainly for artillery, armored units, and the Luftwaffe for air-ground control.
AFV Club adds to its ever-expanding universe of 251 variants with this excellent kit of the 251/3 Ausf. D. Parts are provided to build either a late or final version. Armored vision blocks can be assembled in open or closed positions. Includes photo-etched detail parts. The tracks are rendered as easy-to-use, highly detailed one-piece flexible belts. Markings are included for four vehicles.
