1/35 7.5cm L/46 Ammunition

This is a set of lathed brass ammo for the German 75mm L/46 gun. The projectiles and the cartridge cases are separate. It will require some adjustment to join them into single pieces. The finishing of the polished surfaces is very fine. The explanation on the packaging states that this set can be used with the long-barreled Pz.IV & Stug.II, Hetzer and Jagdpanzer IV, but this info is incorrect. The 75mm L/46 gun is basically a PaK 40 towing anti-tank gun, so it uses the straight-lined long cartridge case. The Marder SPG series and other converted SPGs equipped with this gun use this type of ammo, too. The brass ammo with bottle-necked shorter cartridge cases for the 75mm L/48 gun equipped with those Pz.IV, Stug.III and tank destroyers are available as item TAM35198. The full-shaped brass ammo for the 75mm L/46 gun, if you prefer, is also available as TAM35258. Decals for the stenciled markings and paint instructions for the projectiles are not included.
