1/35 M3A3 Stuart Light Tank

The M3A3 was the first U.S. light tank to adapt inclined hull armor with welded construction. That strengthened its protection greatly over previous tanks. AFV Club has filled a huge gap with this offering. The kit is a completely new-tooling and highly detailed, far, far better than older offerings from Tamiya and Academy. They have not missed the type's lengthened chassis. The suspension & wheels are easily the most accurate of any M3/M5 light tank kit. Detailed turret interior, too. Decals represent Free French, China, Free Yugoslavia & British Army vehicles. Tracks are rubber belt type. Photo-etched brass parts for grills are included, too. No figures.
