1/35 German 3 Ton Half-Track Sd.Kfz.11 Late Model

This is the final model in the 3 Ton Half-Track series. As the war went on, the Third Reich needed more weapons and vehicles, but was suffering material shortages. The result was a simplified vehicle design and the adoption of non-metal materials such as wood. The final model's distinctive features, including the wooden driver's cabin and cargo flat bed, are captured by this kit. Parts are molded in dark yellow plastic and are highly detailed. The engine and radiator grill are photo-etched stainless parts. Tracks are the rubber belt type (can be replaced with track link set AFV35044, sold separately). The kit also comes with one small sprue of MGs and rifles. No figure is included.
