1/48 SB2C-1C Helldiver VB-17 at Rabaul

Reissue by Accurate Miniatures of the Promodeller 1/48 scale SB2C kit with a new three-blade propeller, solid dive brakes, and decals to build the SB2C-1C Helldiver. Markings are included for (according to the instructions) every aircraft of VB-17 when it participated in the raids on Rabaul on Nov. 11, 1943, as well as an aircraft of VB-2. (Unfortunately, while all the nicknames and crew name stencils are included on the decal sheet, there is no mention in the instructions of which nickname or crew goes with which side number. I guess we are expected to research it on our own, but some pointers would have been nice.) See box art for marking details.
