From the Accurate Armour website:
The A30 Challenger started life in 1942 as a conversion of the Cromwell Cruiser tank, capable of mounting the 17pdr Anti-Tank Gun. In the end it became a new tank with the gun mounted in a large turret on new longer hull. Only 200 were produced, and at least 100 of these were shipped to France in July 1944 to increase the firepower of Armoured Recce Regiments, until the end of WWII. This 1/35th scale model by Derek Hansen was released in its original form back in 1988, and has been re-worked by Rob Tearle for it's current return. The model features 6 opening hatches, turret interior, optional applique armour, tools, stowage and brass cables. A set of decals are included for Guards, 11th and Polish armoured Divisions, along with 'T' numbers, AoS , and Tac markings.
