1/35 US M10 Duckbill Gun Motor Carrier

The US M10 Tank destroyer is essentially a self-propelled anti-tank gun, though it looks very similar to a tank with a rotating turret. Its 76mm gun is powerful, but its open-top turret and thin armor made it very vulnerable. Academy has depicted the late model of the M10 Gun Motor Carriage (its official name) with a redesigned turret attached with the "Duckbill" counterweight at the rear. The kit has a full set of interior details in the turret, fighting and driving compartments, and even the General Motors twin diesel engine! Everything is thoroughly detailed. Tracks are the rubber band type. Included are four sets of decals, including markings for US and Free French troops. No figures are included but there are lots of accessory parts, even the improvised armored roof. A must-buy for fans of US armor!
