Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The M12 155mm Gun Motor Carriage was designed for the mechanization of artillery at the early stage of the war. The US Army authorities initially felt little need for this type of weapon and only 100 were produced. But later in the war, Army authorities recognized the usefulness of this large calibre, direct fire weapon. The M12 was pulled out of the arsenal and put into the battle against Germany. Academy has beautifully modelized this self-propelled gun -- not only the gun itself, but the interior of the driving compartment is presented, too. Parts are very crisply molded in dark yellow plastic. Several accessories, including ten rounds of 155mm ammunition and two propellant charge cases are provided. Also, there are two types of Sprocket, Idler and Road wheels included, so you can choose one of them for the specific vehicle and can use the excess parts to detail up the other Allied tanks and their variants based on the M3 medium tank. Tracks are the rubber band type. Four sets of decals are included. No figure is included.
