1/72 F-8P Crusader French Navy Special

Academy follows up their highly-acclaimed 1/72 F-8E kit with this French Navy F-8P. New parts are provided to accurately model the French Crusaders, with the distinctive double-slatted leading edge flaps, larger stabilators and added antennas. Decals are for four aircraft: a silver F-8P of 12.F squadron in 1999, in special markings including a large blunderbuss-toting duck on the top of the wings (see box art); a "stock" light gray F-8E(FN) "8" of 12.F Squadron; an intermediate blue F-8P "35" of 12.F in special markings including a sharkmouth; and an intermediate blue "3" of 12.F in "D-Day Stripes" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the landings in 1994.
